martym

A real book — starring your child, written by you

A book where
is the hero.

Their actual story. Their actual face — painted the same on every page. Written with you in a few evenings, printed for real, kept forever.

Made first for our own kids

Not a template. A book that never existed before.

This one gets asked for every single night.

What a story can do

Some things are easier to become inside a story.

Children rehearse courage in stories — research on children's reading suggests a storybook can genuinely soften a big day, from a first check-up to a hospital visit. And when the hero has your child's own face, the rehearsal really lands.

Brave in the dark

The night the lamp went off — and the hero kept smiling.

The first day of school

Walking into a new class already knowing exactly who they are.

Becoming the big sibling

From "no longer the only one" to "now I'm someone's hero".

Braver than the check-up

The visit they've already read about is the visit they're ready for.

Kindness as a superpower

The story where being kind is exactly what saves the day.

I can do hard things

Trying, wobbling, trying again — and the page where it works.

Tell the workshop what they're growing through — and every chapter is checked against that promise before it reaches you.

How it's made

Four little steps. All four are free.

1Tell us about them A friendly evening chat: who they are, what they love, what the story should hold.
2Chapter one, written with you A real chapter in your family's voice — you steer, you approve.
3Your kid, painted true The same face, the same hair, the same grin — on every page.
Your first illustrated page See it tonight. Nothing to pay until you have.

Then, if you fall in love: keep making the book — from €12, once. No subscription.

The workshop speaks English · the finished book can be English or Polish

Read it before you buy it

Before any money: a real page of their book.

One evening: the chat, the idea, chapter one fully written, your kid painted true — and the first illustrated page, wrapped and waiting.

Nothing to pay until you've seen the first look.

The difference

A name in a template is not your child's story.

It can learn to speak

The grandparent who can't read the book's language
is the whole reason audio matters.

Every Martym book can be narrated aloud — the whole book, expressively, with read-along highlighting for early readers. Babcia in Łódź doesn't read English; the book reads itself to her grandkids anyway. And a Polish edition of the same book, same pictures, is €19.

Voice, whenever you want it — even years later: +€15 / +€89 / +€119 by the size of the book.

One narrated sample chapter is always free.

Our promise

If the first look doesn't melt you,
you owe nothing at all.

You see chapter one and a real illustrated page of your kid before any money changes hands. Every picture and chapter comes with three attempts. And what you buy is yours forever — the print file and every download outlive any membership.

What's yours, plainly

Always yours — no membership, ever

The print-ready file. Every copy you've downloaded. A downloaded book opens forever — offline, signed out, years later. We can't take it back, and we built it that way.

The living shelf — from €1 a month

Reading on any device, progress that follows you, read-along voice — and every book other families have chosen to share. Buying a book does not change your shelf deadline. If it lapses, the shelf rests — nothing is locked, nothing is lost.

Keep the shelf alive — we will never ask you to "unlock your book".

Every family who finishes a book can leave it out for everyone. Reading them is what a membership is for — it's also the honest way to see what a Martym book is, because they are whole books, exactly as their families made them.

Honest questions

How long does it take?

The first look — chapter one fully written, your kid painted true, one real illustrated page — is reachable in a single evening. A whole Storybook usually takes a week of evenings, at your pace.

What happens to my kid's photos?

Reference photos are used only to paint your child consistently in your book. They are never published, never sold, and never used to train AI models, and you can delete them at any time. Painting a picture does send the reference to the AI provider that paints it — we name every provider in our privacy policy and contract them not to keep it or train on it.

What if I don't like a picture?

Every picture and every chapter comes with three attempts included — the first make and two redos. If you're still exploring after that, a pocket of 12 more tries is €5 for the whole book, and it never expires.

Can I print it?

Yes — every book includes the print-ready file, and it is yours forever, membership or not. Take it to any printer, or print it at home.

Which languages?

The making workshop speaks English. The finished book can be English or Polish, and a translated edition of a finished book — same pictures, prose re-drafted — is €19.

Is this AI?

Yes, honestly and openly. You tell the story and make every decision; the writing and painting are drafted by AI models, and nothing goes into the book that you haven't approved. That's how one family can afford a fully illustrated, narrated book about their own kid.

Tonight, when you tuck them in,
chapter one could already exist.
